PLNNR ("we", "us") is operated by CTRL-ALT-DEL-LTD. This policy explains what personal data the PLNNR app collects, why, and your rights over it. PLNNR is for adults (18+) who organise activities for their family.

1. Who we are

CTRL-ALT-DEL-LTD is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can contact us at [email protected].

2. The information we collect

• Account details — your email address, a hashed password (or an Apple sign-in identifier), and your display name.
• Family & activity data you enter — your family name, the names of children, pets and members you add, and the activities, schedules, locations, notes and drop-off/pick-up assignments you create.
• Location — if you grant permission, your device location is used to estimate travel time to a drop-off or pick-up. This is processed to produce an estimate and is not stored as a location history by us.
• Photos — any photos you choose to attach to an activity (for example a picture of the kit needed).
• Push notification tokens — a device token so we can send you notifications about changes and reminders.
• Technical data — a per-install device identifier and app version, used to keep your session secure.

3. How we use it

• To provide the service — storing your family's plans and syncing them across the people you invite.
• To send notifications and reminders about drop-offs, pick-ups and changes.
• To estimate travel/"leave by" times when you enable location.
• To keep your account secure and prevent abuse.

4. Legal bases (UK/EU GDPR)

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the app), on the basis of your consent (e.g. location and notifications, which you can withdraw in your device settings), and our legitimate interests in keeping the service secure and functional.

5. Who we share it with

• People in your family — data you add to a family is visible to the other members you invite to it. Members you invite with limited access see only the events assigned to them.
• Service providers — Apple's Push Notification service (to deliver notifications) and our hosting provider (to run the service).
• We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

6. Children's data

PLNNR accounts are for adults (18 or over). Information about children is added and controlled by the parent or carer who holds the account; children do not have their own accounts. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete account), which removes your account and associated personal data from our systems. Backups are cycled out on a rolling basis.

8. Your rights

Subject to UK/EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, export (portability), restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).

9. Security

Passwords are hashed, data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and sessions are device-bound. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

10. International transfers

Where data is processed outside your country (for example by Apple's push service), we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; we'll revise the "last updated" date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
